Minimal Delays – August 25 through August 31

The single-track operation will affect the Washington Park, Fairview Heights and Memorial Stations, weather permitting construction at the Fairview Heights Station and generally last each morning from the beginning of revenue service until 5 a.m. and then from 10 p.m. until the end of revenue service. Since the Cardinals are in town this week, the single-track operation will not begin until the conclusion of extra service after the baseball game estimated to be 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Saturday and Sunday mornings the single-track service will extend to 6 a.m. instead of 5 a.m.
These operations will create a minimal impact on service, however, MetroLink customers who make MetroBus connections need to be aware of possible delays.

Effective Monday, May 19, the last two eastbound Lambert Line trains which normally terminate at the Fairview Heights Station at 12:31 a.m. and 1:01 a.m. will terminate at the Emerson Park Station at 12:21 a.m. and 12:51 a.m. (the normal time point at that Station). Customers will then transfer to the bus shuttle which serves remaining stations through the end of the line at Shiloh-Scott Station. This change is to accommodate construction of the Fairview Heights Pocket Track and will remain in effect until the Pocket Track is placed in service later this year.
